After a successful run of shows at Ackermannshof, CBD return with a triple bill of pieces by choreographers Jorge Garcia Perez, Andrea Tortosa Vidal, Alba Carbonell Castillo. Updated to the unique location of IWB Filter 4, the pieces will take on a new dimension in this special setting.

We will again be supporting the charity Second Sight. Set up with the aim of eradicating curable blindness in India, 100% of donations are used to restore sight. Donate CHF 30, and you WILL cure a blind person.The money pays for outreach workers to visit even the most remote areas, to accompany the blind to hospital by bus, train, boat or bullock-cart, for all surgery and post-operative treatment, and for food during the overnight hospital stay. We are proud to support this charity and report that the money collected from the charity brunch in July was used to cure 30 young children of blindness.

While observing people’s body language interacting with each other in normal daily life situations, my head starts to make up stories about them Which leads me to want to create a dance piece about it. Dance is the best instrument for this subject, because one of the most amazing things about dance is that so much can be said with a single gesture.
